AWARD INFORMATION
The Athletic Hall of Fame honors and preserves the memory of those athletes, teams, coaches and those who have contributed meritorious service to Central City High School and its athletic program. A selection committee of faculty and community members names the inductees.
Individuals being considered for nomination for the CCHS Hall of Fame must have:
Graduated from Central City High School
Past or Present Coach at Central City High School
Booster of Central City Athletics
His/her class will have graduated at least five years ago.
During his/her years at Central City High School the honoree will have exhibited good citizenship, leadership, and high moral character.
The major contribution may have been in the nature of:
Varsity Athlete at Central City High School.
College or Professional Athlete.
General contributions to athletics in the area, state, or nation.
(in all cases they must be a CCHS letter winner, except boosters)
Special recognition may be given to Central City High School teams for inclusion in the "Hall of Fame." The teams should have performed on an outstanding level. Team selections and induction will take place only after 1994.
