Here are some links to music, games and other sites where you can study the Spanish we have been learning in class or just have fun practicing your Spanish reading and listening skills.

Música - Music

Terra Música - This is a site dedicated to Spanish language music and music artists.  You can watch music videos, read about Spanish language music artists, or listen to online Spanish language radio stations.

Yahoo Música - Another site dedicated to Spanish language music and music artists with lots of videos and information about Spanish language artists.

Moving video - This is a link to the National Geographic site with a music video for the song "Moving" which the artist Macaco wrote in honor of Earth day. It also contains links to other videos by Spanish language artists.

Justo Lamas Group - You can find links to Emir Sensini and Ennio Emmanuel's music here.

 

Juegos - Games

Quizlet - This is a site containing games for over 10,000 different Spanish topics.  Just type the topic or chapter from the book that we are studying into the search bar and explore!

Purpose Games - Match Spanish words to pictures in these games over topics such as Spanish-speaking countries, household nouns, and body parts.  100 different games available.

Quia - Another game site containing over 7,000 different Spanish games and activities.

El "Hobbit" con Gatos - Watch this Spanish trailer for the Hobbit- con gatos!

Bob Esponja - Home page for "Bob Esponja" (you may know him better as Sponge Bob) - en Español!

Mamá Pájaro - Link to a free printable coloring book about la primavera (Spring!).  For all you coloring fans!

Lugares Interesantes - Interesting Places

Zoológico de Chapultepec - Link to the website for the Zoo at Chapultepec Park in Mexico City.

Museo de las Momias - Link to the home page for the "Museum of the Mummies" in Guanajuato, Mexico - an entire museum dedicated to the mummified ancestors of the town of Guanajuato.  

Some Important Internet Usage Notes:

1. Remember that if you are accessing these sites from school, you must follow school rules and Internet usage policies at all times. 

2. Be a responsible and safe Internet user; don't share private information or use the Internet to harm others either through your words or actions.

3. If you like one of the songs you hear and would like to download it, please do so legally by purchasing the song through a site such as Amazon.com or the iTunes store.  It isn't illegal to listen to music online without paying, but permanently downloading music (without the artist's permission) to your computer, iPod, or other device without paying for it is ILLEGAL - no matter what the file-sharing sites say. Remember - music artists make their living from selling their music!
